Our Community’s Heros

Hero’s Diving for the Sea engages veterans and first responders in scuba diving projects to remove trash from waterways, while also offering aquatic STEM classes and swimming lessons for youth to promote marine conservation, water safety, and environmental stewardship.

American Legion Post 56 honors and supports veterans, active-duty service members, and their families through community programs, advocacy, and events. They work to preserve patriotism, serve those who have served, and strengthen the bonds between military and civilian communities in East Idaho.

Purple Heart Foundation supports combat-wounded veterans and their families by funding programs that offer medical assistance, scholarships, and other resources. Their mission honors the sacrifice of those injured in service while helping them transition to healthier, more secure lives.

Disabled American Veterans (DAV) of Idaho provides vital support and advocacy for veterans and their families, empowering those who have served through local chapters, community programs, and statewide initiatives. Their mission is to ensure every veteran receives the assistance, resources, and recognition they deserve.
